the first theet after the missing 2, is not on the same dept.

no idea original saab, so shouldn't be that much. 0.4-0.6mm i think. would need to take oil sump off to measure.

yes, and it gives the red bars when it loses sync.

can't make more of it. but the trigger signal is to low in amplitude when i compare with all the other cars here.
and the first tooth after the missing tooth is a problem i think. but wanted to get somebody else is look on this .

Hi, its a KDFI basic board latest version.

but changed it out with other ecu's and same faults. but i you look at the signal, after the missing thoot, its going up, and doesnt go through the 0 volt line.

I did some measurements and there is no short circuit between any of the pins and the GND. switched the daughter-board on to a basisc Circuit board. same problem. so problem is in the daughter board. there has to be short or open circuit.... but i don't have a lay out of the KDFI, so there it ends.....

Hi Sebastian, thanks for helping out, i will check tomorrow , i have a M50Tu engine running with KDFI plug in ecu, everything working. and 3 chinch that don't work.
will measure out the cinch board first. then check the rest.

i had the cable correct. everything is good. so we will see tomorrow when i got the converter
hopefully i can read it out correct.
tested 3 other daughterboard of cars i had around the shop. all the same.

Yes, you would also need a TTL<->RS232 adapter because the rxd and txd pins have TTL level. How is your LSU4.2 connected to the kdfi?
